"Unknown Allies"

I would that everyone take a moment and read: Luke 9:49-50

Now, I want all us to stop and think the next time We try to determine; Who's Who.

Blessings.

Interesting...what is the meaning behind your post? The verse talks about someone who was driving out demons in Yeshua's name but was rebuked. Why were they rebuked?

They were rebuked because they weren't physically following Jesus as were the disciples that did the rebuking.

This tells me; though we may not be in the same band or company, as long as Jesus is the foundation it shouldn't matter.

Blessings.

I will agree with you on that point. We serve the same G-d, and look to the same Messiah for atonement. For non-Jews, the day of worship, manner and location of worship, foods you eat, holidays you celebrate, etc...all come down to personal conviction between you and Him. Would you agree with that?

I.H.S...I responded to this and it didn't publish, I guess. Came back to see your response...

Well, I didn't need to write because Yehudi asked exactly my question; I was unsure of the meaning of the scripture and your point. I see now that not only is it thought provoking but it fit VERY well in the argument at my site which finally has provoked CJ to take her toys and go home..I do feel badly because there's a lot I like about her, but she just takes things far too far.
Please pray for her peace and to get SOME joy from her faith. xxx Thanks.

Yehudi, I don't know if I would say personal conviction, I would say it's more of a learned response
rather than personal conviction I would suppose.

The important thing is that Jesus/Yeshua be the center of it all and if this is indeed done I believe everything else will work itself out.

Blessings.

Even though they did not accompany Jesus and His disciples they obviously understood and believed. Unlike the exorcists who tried to use the name of Jesus as a simple magical invocation in Acts 10: 13-17.
